I take a practical and realistic approach about how sustainability can support a business and its people. One size does not fit all and businesses need to think about timing and other parallel initiatives and issues affecting its business.

With 28 years’ experience in the construction industry I have seen a wide range of challenges and solutions depending on the project and client requirements. The approach to many of these are transferrable to other industries as we all use or generate energy, waste, water, carbon and impact the environment and our communities.
Sustainability often gets a bad rap but it is as much about the positive opportunities as well such as apprenticeships, employment (of both people, services and other businesses) and stimulating the local economy generating a very positive social impact.
As a seasoned leader of both local and global sustainability strategies, I can work with you on the following:
- Sustainability reviews – assessing current company sustainability strategy, interviewing key players, producing recommendations reports and reassuring stakeholders
- Supporting leaders and organisations to build and strengthen the impact of sustainability strategies into their business at all stages
- Facilitating in house workshops and training sessions to support action and implementation
